Kathmandu. As the central bank of Nepal, more than 5.5 trillion rupees in remittances have been received in the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082/83.

According to the country’s current economic and financial situation report based on data up to Ashoj of the current fiscal year 2082/83, released today by the NRB, remittance inflows increased by 35.4 percent to Rs 553.31 billion.
The NRB has stated that remittance inflows amounted to Rs. 201.22 billion in the month of Ashoj alone.
During this period, net secondary income (net transfer) reached Rs. 610.61 billion. In the same period of the previous year, such income was Rs. 443.76 billion.
